The Economic Development & Government Affairs Committee works to strengthen Roseville’s business climate and ensure long-term economic vitality for our region. The committee focuses on the issues shaping our local economy—ranging from legislation and policy trends to development activity and the evolving needs of our employers.

In partnership with the City of Roseville and Placer County, our mission is to keep the region competitive, attract new businesses, and advocate for policies that support the business community at the local, state, and federal levels.

This month, we are honored to welcome FOX40 Anchor Nikki Laurenzo, host of Inside California Politics, and Senator Roger Niello, who will offer valuable insights into California’s political landscape, emerging policy priorities, and their impact on regional economic development.

This meeting will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 8:00–9:15 a.m. at Randy Peters Catering & Event Center (105 Vernon St.). Each gathering features subject-matter experts, industry leaders, and elected officials who share timely and relevant perspectives on issues affecting Roseville’s economic environment.
