To the South Placer Fire District Community:

We are pleased to announce that Station 19 at 7070 Auburn Folsom Road was reopened with limited capacity this morning, March 8th, 2025. Despite ongoing funding challenges, we have assessed community needs and made strategic adjustments to enhance our services. By relocating an existing ambulance to Station 19 and adding a firefighter position to Station 20, we expect to significantly reduce response times for medical emergencies, our most common type of call.

• Limited Operations: Station 19 will operate with an ambulance and Battalion Chief but will not have a fire engine.
• Enhanced Medical Response: Our adjustments aim to improve response times for medical emergencies
• Community Engagement: We invite you to a community open house on March 29th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. This event will include station tours, opportunities to meet our firefighters, and a chance to ask questions about the reopening. The flyer for the open house is below.
