Outside the Box: Reimagined is an imaginative fundraising event celebrating the intersection of art, music, and community — while supporting the mission of the Placer Artists Tour, the region’s largest free, self-guided art experience. This event invites local artists to transform donated vinyl records and their paper jackets into extraordinary works of art. Each record becomes a one-of-a-kind collectible — a fusion of music history and visual creativity — to be showcased and sold in a live and silent auction. Proceeds will benefit the Placer Artists Tour and the vibrant creative network it sustains. Concept Each participating artist will receive a used, vintage vinyl record and jacket to “reimagine” in their own way — through painting, collage, sculpture, or mixed media. The finished artworks will be displayed together in a high-energy exhibition and auction evening at the Blue Goose in Loomis on Thursday, April 9th, 2026.
