Join us for an evening reception with appetizers, wine, beer, and cocktails. A short program will include presentation of the 2024 Placer Conservator Award to Steve Frisch, and a lively fund-a-need auction to help protect land in the Sierra. The Placer Conservator Reception is one of two events during Conservation Celebration Week—a week that is all about celebrating the people who make land conservation in our region possible! During the week of September 16-22, we will shine a spotlight on the value of protected lands with an online auction (https://placerlandtrust.org/online-auction-2024), the Placer Conservator Reception, and Party on the Preserve. The funds raised during Conservation Celebration Week are critical to our success as an organization, supporting Placer Land Trust’s work of protecting natural and agricultural land, restoring habitat, and enhancing outdoor recreation.
