Based in Loomis since 1982, Koinonia Family Services is a premier provider of trauma-informed care for children and families throughout Placer County. Their comprehensive services include Foster Care, Foster-to-Adopt, and Private Domestic Adoption (including birth parent support services), and a Post-Adoption Wraparound program. Beyond placement, they offer specialized Outpatient Mental Health services and the Loomis Crisis Resolution Center, a 24-hour resource for Placer County teens and families. As a partner in the CalAIM initiative, Koinonia also provides Enhanced Care Management (ECM) and Community Supports (CS) to coordinate complex healthcare needs and address social factors like housing and food stability, ensuring a holistic path to healing and permanency for our community.
