About
The goal of our all-volunteer organization is simple: to be a resource for all schools in the Roseville City School District and make a difference to the children in our community. Our vision is to engage you and others in our community with helping us make our schools the best place to learn for our children. We do this through Partners in Education Grants and supplementing the Music Education program for schools within the district.
PIE Grants
Partners in Education (PIE) promotes innovation in the classroom through teacher, grade-level and academic department grants. Every year teachers from all school sites submit grant proposals designed to inspire and motivate their students and advance the use of cutting edge curriculum.
Our PIE Fund provides a financial resource to teachers for innovative academic and enrichment programs like science nights, field trips, musical productions and much more. In addition these grants can also go directly into the classroom, providing students with hands-on access to the latest developments in math and science. They also support our language arts, physical education and social science curriculum.
Music Education
Music education is about so much more than learning to sing or play an instrument. Research has shown that children who learn music do better in other subjects. The skills they gain in music help with language development, increased IQ, creativity, spatial-temporal skills, coordination and improved test scores. They also build teamwork and camaraderie with their fellow students and have fun! Our Foundation raises funds to support music education through our annual golf tournament, held on the second Monday of May, and direct public support. Find out more here!
