About

Improving the Lives of Placer County Seniors

In a perfect world, every senior would have enough food to eat, a warm, safe place to live, access to reliable transportation, and opportunities for human interaction and connection. Over 86,000 senior citizens reside in Placer County, many of whom do not have access to these critical quality of life services. Seniors First exists to provide programs, services and long-term support to Placer County seniors so that they may maintain their independence as long as possible. Seniors first is working to make this vision a reality by offering programs that provide:

  • safe and reliable transportation
  • nutritious meals
  • adult day care & socialization
  • visits to the homebound
  • caregiver support
  • home modifications and safety repairs
  • assistance with housing placement
  • information and referral resources for seniors

All Placer County seniors living in Western Placer County are eligible for Seniors First services, including the communities of Roseville, Rocklin, Lincoln, Colfax, Auburn and Granite Bay.
